Bryan Ferry Greets Fans at J&R

Despite sweltering heat and humidity, a couple hundred music fans lined up outside of J&R Music earlier today to meet rock legend Bryan Ferry, here to promote his latest CD, Dylanesque. A true gentleman, he took the time to chat and shake hands with almost every single fan in the queue.

And if you consider yourself a TRUE music fan, make sure you pick up Bryan’s solo work, as well as his amazing material as a member of the iconic band Roxy Music.

I was at J&R today and met Bryan Ferry in person. It’s true, he was a perfect gentleman. He even had the patience to smile as I repeatedly begged him to pose with my wife for pictures. Nice guy! Amazing experience!

There is a great cover of Highway 61 revisited by Dave Alvin which would be worth a listen. Also how about Simply Red’s or Bryan Ferry’s versions of ‘Positively 4th Street’ or any other song from Ferry’s Dylanesque album. Alternatively Manfred Mann’s cover of The Mighty Quinn.
